Microsoft's new Xbox 360 Elite bundle features the Xbox 360 gaming console, a wireless black controller, and Lego Batman: The Videogame and Pure, an action sports game . According to the Microsoft, the Xbox 360 Elite Holiday Bundle starts shipping to stores on Tuesday 9/29/09. Suggested retail price is $299.

Microsoft has publicly said that they are NOT working on the Xbox 720 right now, but instead are concentrating on improving the Xbox 360 experience.

The company's President of Entertainment and Devices, Robbie Bach, told the San Jose Mercury News: "Just coming up with something that's faster and prettier isn't going to be sufficient."

The Microsoft boss also commented on the sagging economy and remarked that consumers probably don't have the money to spend on newer, more expensive Xbox 720 game consoles.

Sony keeps referencing a 'ten year life-cycle' line when promoting its PlayStation 3 console. So don't look for a PS4 any time soon.
